The product: the item sold by the merchant and promoted by the affiliate.
Super Affiliates: Affiliates that earn the highest commissions. Super affiliates typically represent only about 20% of all affiliates, yet they convert over 80% of all website visitors.
Tracking Link: also known as the tracking link This is a unique URL which tracks affiliate referrals and click-throughs.
Conversion: a term used to describe a payment to an affiliate resulting from a purchase event, whether in the form of money, product, or service. A merchant can choose to describe their offers as anything they want, and leads and the sale of the merchant's products are two common examples.
The prospect: it can refer to a customer who is performing a conversion with the merchant. It can also be referred to as customer, lead, client.
Affiliate Network: An optional middle man between the merchant and the affiliate that helps facilitate the business. The most well-known affiliate networks are Clickbank, Maxbounty, affiliaxe.
Affiliate Manager — An individual who operates as a go-between for merchants and affiliates, working alongside them. Their aim is to optimize the affiliate program's performance.

Click-Through Rate (CTR): is the percentage of affiliate link clicks per the number of web page impressions (Impressions refer to the times your Ad has been displayed). The higher your CTR, the chances are greater that you will get a conversion.
